Currently, the American Cancer Society (ACS) recommends that women 40 and older have a mammogram once a year. In an effort to encourage more women to schedule yearly mammograms, the ACS Web site offers an interactive tool that automatically will send an e-mail reminder to your favorite woman every year. Simply type in the recipient’s e-mail address, choose a reminder date and send.
